The public park and playground at Alcala, Pangasinan is
probably the largest of its kind I’ve seen so far at least. The enormous space
where the park lies can be comparable to that of a football field. It offers numerous play bars where school kids from an adjacent elementary school as
well as neighboring barangays and even other areas too can enjoy. We’re from a
nearby town about 12.5 kilometers away and we don’t mind the 16 minutes drive
to drop kids.
While waiting and watching the kids, you can walk
around to take a bite of street foods being peddled by locals. You can also sit
and relax in a shed with radio music broadcasting over the speakers. There are
also clean and comfy rest rooms within the park.
