The popular Japan Hokkaido Slimming Weight Loss Pills
product which I reviewed in an old blog entry, despite being effective for its intended
purpose, is not FDA approved. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration have
discovered the presence of sibutramine, a substance banned due to its adverse
health effects, in the pills. I may have felt similar side effects when I was
using the product, palpitations for one, but heck, I didn’t care for as long as
I was losing weight. :D Anyway, to hell with weight loss because health is more
important to me now as well as earning more work hours to pay the bills! ;)

Going back to Hokkaido weight loss pills, even the
usual Sulit.com.ph (now Olx.ph) seller where I used to purchase the product
from mentioned that the product had now been recalled. But she still has the
item on her ads though. :D I searched for Japan Hokkaido pill’s official
website and contacted them about the FDA report. I am still waiting for a reply
to this day.
The rest of FDA’s report can be read here.
