Being a noob, I had no idea how it tasted like and I assumed that it can be consumed because it was offered through the usual milk bottle. But when I poured the contents onto a cup, it looked buttery that I can safely say it can become butter with a few more days of fermentation. So I headed over to Google, the best friend. :)
Apparently, the
buttery look is typical of buttermilk; hence, it’s where the name was derived from.
But it’s more usually used for baking and cooking than drinking. But you can
still drink it. Just shake the bottle well and add sugar to minimize the weird
taste.
Kampai for buttermilk!
