I seem to be associating buffet with birthdays these days as several birthdays have been celebrated dining at buffet restaurants since last year. Don't blame me, I couldn't resist the temptation. Aside from the fact that it's free for birthday celebrants (in some buffet restaurants), I love a full meal complete with unlimited servings of everything you want in your plate.
The most recent conquest is Sambokojin Yakiniku Smokeless Grill in SM Southmall. Sambokojin by the way means "kitchen god" while Yakiniku stands for "grilled meat." The latter is one of the things I love in a food place, to be able to grill meat and seafood, particularly shrimp.
This branch is spacious enough to accommodate 50 diners at once. Other than the space, it was a lucky weekday night as well. We didn't have to wait for hours and for everyone who made reservations to be seated. That's the usual scenario in places similar to this during weekdays.
