Daniele Casa Mia looks very humble in an unlikely location but don't get fooled by the simple appearance of the place, this restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine down south of the metro.
This was supposed to be where we celebrate Mother's Day dinner but it was full that time due to reservations so we headed elsewhere. We went back a few days later to try best selling dishes and even an off the menu appetizer. I didn't catch the latter's name but its looks like an Italian cured meat you can use to wrap a mozzarella cheese and fresh parsley which came with it.
We were also served with free bread that comes with an Italian dip that complements the bread a lot. Although the dip tastes special, the ingredients are simple based on what I've found online. It's made of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pepper, garlic, and Parmesan cheese.
The rest of our meal included delicious ribs, all meat pizza, chocolate gelato, some drinks including Italian coffee, and free sweet wine.
There are also numerous family portraits and other pictures taken by the restaurant owner during his younger photographer or paparazzi days (as one of the waiter calls it).
With an aesthetically appealing ambiance and delectable, we will definitely be back for more.

While waiting for our dinner to be served, I looked around and took snapshots of the place including paintings and art work. The papier-mâché of the Leaning Tower of Pisa is hands down the best piece inside.
With an aesthetically appealing ambiance and delectable, we will definitely be back for more.
