Here's an overdue post I should have posted a long time ago but only got to notice recently while I was cleaning my email inbox of old mails.
Thank you very much to the PhilHealth Action Center. I received assistance through email about specific queries. I continued paying premium for PhilHealth as a voluntary member since I started working as a freelancer online. I normally paid my dues through authorized payment centers like SM Business Services. However, there is no option to confirm if payments go through because PhilHealth doesn't have an online portal to check it (unlike SSS, so I hope they will consider this feature in the future). So I shot an email to the moon without really hoping for a reply.
Fortunately, the PhilHealth Action Center actually replied and listed my contributions for the specific years I was asking about and even included previous years when I was still employed after I verified my account.
This year, I went straight to a local PhilHealth satellite office for payments and to check my previous contributions so there is no need to email them anymore. But I am very thankful that PhilHealth was very accommodating when I asked for assistance through email.

DeleteSadly, there is no option yet to see the premiums paid online for PhilHealth; only SSS has that option. But you can visit any PhilHealth branch and confirm if your company did pay for your dues. You may also email them at actioncenter@philhealth.gov.ph

ReplyDeleteTry nyo i-contact din yung remittance center, baka sila po ang hindi naghulog ng bayad nyo. Also, how many months na po ba? Minsan po may delay from payment hanggang sa records ng PhilHealth.

ReplyDeleteSa pagkakaalam ko, basta hindi pa tapos ang taon, you can still pay for the rest of the year's previous quarters and use it for health benefit claims. But to be sure, best to ask Philhealth directly.

ReplyDeleteEmployers are required to pay for their employees premiums (half is paid by the employee while the other portion is paid by the employer). Self-employed persons are not required to join but can optionally become a member.

ReplyDeleteI suggest you contact Philhealth about your concern. I doubt if it can be refunded though. The receipts are important as requirement for refund.

Sorry, I just saw this. Is your issue resolved now? If not, try contacting PhilHealth. They do reply via email although it may take days.

Kindly check this Accredited PhilHealth Government Hosipital in Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte (SINDANGAN GENERAL DISTRICT HOSPITAL), wherein, their rules to avail PhilHealth Benefits to inpatient members should stay 2 to 3 Nights confinement in their room hospital. If members can not wait for 2 to 3 nights confinement and they wanted to discharge immediately (12 to 24 hours confinement), they should pay the whole amount of their hospital bill without PhilHealth Deduction.
ReplyDeleteThe scenario in this hospital, poor members or indigent will wait for 2 to 3 nights confinement so they can avail PhilHealth deduction. Due to this Hospital Rules, the corridors are also occupied by hospital beds, wherein, crowded members are weeping for this kind of services owned by the Government.
That hospital should be reported to Philhealth so their accreditation will be revoked.

At sbi nya skin dpat voluntary kunin ko pra maliit lng pay ko. Pgsinama ko rw sila malaki pay. So hindi nko kumuha kc 220 lng sweldo ko. Food at fare pa. Pwede ko ba sila ireklamo? Katatapos lng po ng DOLE ko at sbi ng Dole sa inyo na rw ako mg ask kc di nla alam bout philhealth. Sayang dn po ksi 2yrs 2mons.po ako dn. Umalis n po ako dn last oct.5 2016.
