Forget the drama this weekend! Head over to the food night market of Mercato Centrale at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. Whether you are a foodie or not, you will definitely love all the goodie this place has to offer.
Update as of August 2016:
Mercato Centrale has moved to 7th Avenue and 25th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
The place is jam packed whether you visit on a Friday or Saturday. You can even watch players practicing football nearby.
There's just too much to choose from! International and local cuisine is well represented. I settled for Cajun cooking though. My husband actually chose it for me. He knows what I will appreciate even if I initially didn't pick the product. I really enjoyed the small whole baked potatoes in a cream Cajun sauce (third from image below).
cookies and cream gelato, street food style shrimp, baked potato, twister fries
steak, Cajun style (image above)
More Cajun cooking...
I also loved the bagwang from Vigan. It's a crispy version of the bagnet.
You can also buy baked goods costing 3 for 100 pesos or 2 for 150 pesos.
Mercato Centrale in Bonifacio Global City is located at the 34th St. corner 8th Ave. right across MC Depot and opens every Friday and Saturday from 6PM to 3AM.
