There's a cozy little place in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan with a cool concept incorporating books and coffee. It's called Codi Cafe Kape at Libro.
Books Available
All books inside the cafe are free to read but of course, you can't bring them home; not even to borrow. This isn't a library.
Don't expect best sellers by the way. Most books are likely from owners of the place. I'm guessing someone's a nursing graduate due to the volume of nursing as well as other medical books present.
Ambiance Inside and Parking Outside
Parking space is limited just outside the shop but the whole area nearby can be considered free for all parking so long as businesses don't prohibit non-customers from parking.
Inside, it's very cozy and inviting for groups.
There was even a group of respectable men, possibly meeting for prayer and Bible study when we sipped our coffee one early eve.
Yes, there's Wi-Fi but we didn't have time for that.
Food and Drinks
The menu consists of the the usual hot and cold coffee servings. Pasta, bread, steak and more are offered if you're starving.
Most of them were not available for dinner that time because of an event hosted earlier.
Don't forget the even more common nachos.
Just two of numerous medical books on the shelves with hot latte on the sides for me.
Reader's Digest and frappe for the cold one.
