All these years living in Metro Manila, I've only recently discovered how cool Luneta Park is as a hangout at night. Thanks to those days when I was still playing Pokemon Go.
Luneta Park
Being able to visit Rizal Park was like a major travel accomplishment when I was kid. I've seen it back when The Planetarium was still open. I slept throughout the show though because I was suffering from a fever at the time. I also didn't walk around Luneta like the rest of my classmates did because I dozed off at the school bus too.
My real actual tour of the place was during the heyday of Pokemon Go.
Luneta Park at Night
While it was raining most of the time we went out to hunt, there were days when the sky was clear that we stayed at night to witness sights like these photos above and below.
Weekends for Family
It was incidentally weekend at that time, Sunday, in particular, so numerous groups of family, friends and even couples on a date were gathered there too.
Most were casually seated on the grass. Some brought blankets for a picnic. The rest are walking around or jogging. You'll find food stalls and trinket as well as souvenir shops as well.
Rizal Park
For first timers, including tourists, this national public park is located in Roxas Blvd., Ermita, Barangay 666 Zone 72, Manila.
Hours: 5AM to 9PM
