I'm not new to online shopping. But most of my purchases were from a popular ecommerce network. I've heard of Zalora some years back but I've never really thought of purchasing until I found a long sleeved top on a mall but the design only has one size left. Fortunately, I found the exact same thing on Zalora and a whole lot more options.
This shopping network offers both men and women's fashion. There's also a section for kids. International and local brands of clothing, shoes, bags and accessories are available. Not sure when it started but I've noticed a section for Beauty products now.
Apart from a wide range of products from popular and growing brands, other features you'll love include the following:
Aside from native site promos such as vouchers for downloading the mobile app, first time shoppers, and signing up for updates, there are lots of other promos quite possibly almost every day. Expect those offers at specific occasions or times (as with any other shopping site) such as during holidays, paydays, weekends, lunch or afternoon.
They accept credit cards, PayPal, Google Pay and Cash on Delivery (COD). I'm 100% sure most Pinoy shoppers prefer COD. 😉
It's free shipping for orders over ₱995, nationwide. Returns are accepted within 30 days upon receipt of the items ordered.
The return, exchange and replacement is simpler now. Above, was from some time back. Today, you only need to fill up the form online (desktop site or the mobile app), drop the item through partners sites (selected branches of 7-Eleven, LBC and 2-Go as well as Click+Connect), and track the progress using your Zalora account.

Cancellation
There is ample time to cancel the order if you are using the desktop version of the site, as long as the product/s are not yet packed on their warehouse.
Order Tracking and Delivery
Orders can be tracked through their delivery partners LBC and Entrego. You can even pick up the item/s through 7-Eleven if you're not sure whether or not your around to receive it.
Other Opportunities
Apart from being a shopper, there are other opportunities on the site. There used to be a Brand Ambassador Program. It's been discontinued in January 2019.
Community Influencer Program
The new Community Influencer Program may have been a replacement of BAP. So those who are fashionable and with a good number of followers on social media channels will definitely benefit from this.
See www.zalora.com.ph/influencer to apply.
Zalora Affiliate Program
Another way to potentially earn is through the Zalora Affiliate Program. This is a bit technical though and is more ideal for webmasters.
The affiliate program is available through third party networks Involve Asia, Optimize Media and ACCESSTRADE.
Marketplace
There is an opportunity to sell merchandise on Zalora. The items accepted will naturally be limited to the range of product types already offered on the site but it is a welcoming thought for local brands who are just starting to market their name.
See www.zalora.com.ph/sell-with-us for information.
What You'll Dislike
But since nothing is perfect, there are things you may hate or at least not like on this site.
Not sure about the veracity of negative reviews I've read on SiteJabber but there had been complaints about fake items. I can only speculate that the knockoffs could have been from third-party sellers they have accepted on the platform's marketplace, but who knows?
Another downside is slow turnaround time. Take a look at the order I'm tracking below through the delivery partner. One full week of sorting is way too long in my opinion. Another shopping network would have delivered it after 2-3 days.
I'm not in a hurry though so it's no problem for me but other shoppers may probably complain.
Other than that, my overall experience with Zalora is good so far.
