Malls in Metro Manila are no longer just places for shopping or dining. They have evolved into a complete entertainment center where families and groups can gather and enjoy. One of such is Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati City.
Setting aside the usual dine and shop experience, what I actually enjoyed more is walking around touring the place.

Aesthetically Appealing Landscape
Unlike most malls where everything is just confined inside a building, there's an open section in the middle with live flora and fauna as well as a flowing water feature to complete the aesthetic look. The live flowers and plants help create a fresher air you can appreciate while walking around the mall.
Open Rooftop
Another interesting area is the open rooftop. There are small shops here for souvenirs and food while you enjoy the view seated in faux grass floors.
From afar, the business district of Makati City is visible in contrast with a more laid back view of smaller residential and commercial buildings close-by.
Former Santa Ana Racetrack
The contrasting view has an interesting history. The Circuit Makati area as a whole used to be the 21-hectare Santa Ana racetrack. It's why they retained the name "circuit." The former horse betting ground has been relocated in Naic, Cavite.
Urban CityKart Racing
For go-kart enthusiasts, Urban CityKart Racing is also here.
We only saw a glimpse of it from the rooftop area. More information about it can be found their Facebook page, www.facebook.com/City-Kart-Racing-at-Circuit-Makati.
Gatorade Blue Pitch
There's a football field as well in blue, hence, the name, "Gatorade Chelsea FC Blue Pitch." This is also a glimpse from above, through the mall.
While the field looks small from above, it's apparently FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) sized.
Globe Circuit Event Grounds
Not in photo but further right from the football field, just outside the mall, is the Globe Circuit Event Grounds which can host events for 10, 000 attendees.
Dining and Shopping
Also not in photo, the lifestyle entertainment mall features numerous shops for dining and shopping.
Biblio
I'm just a mere window shopper so apart from a meal through the food court and snacks from the roof top, Biblio is just one of the shops I actually got something from.
Biblio is a second hand bookshop. But they also sell brand new books.
The books look inviting probably even for non-readers just by looking at the interior from outside. Making it open is definitely effective.
These are the only books I purchased, both are not for me. Yes, that's an old 2015 Guinness list. 😬😂
Directions
Ayala Malls Circuit posted this directional guide on their Facebook page since the area isn't too familiar, even for those who know Makati well.
