In support of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council's (NDRRMC) initiatives, SM Supermalls successfully hosted the 3rd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) across all its malls nationwide. This collaborative effort aims to promote earthquake preparedness and resilience among Filipinos.
In Pangasinan, the drill was conducted at SM City Rosales, SM City Urdaneta Central, and SM Center Dagupan, involving mall tenants, shoppers, and employees. The event featured the proper "Duck, Cover, and Hold" technique, guiding participants on how to protect themselves during seismic activities. Attendees also took part in building evacuation exercises and earthquake response workshops facilitated by local disaster risk reduction officers.
